Lord Zac Goldsmith, the UK’s Minister of State for Energy, Climate and Environment,
today congratulated Guyana for issuing the world’s first ART-TREES credits. Lord
Goldsmith said “This is a huge step forward for high-integrity forest carbon credits
and protecting tropical forests at scale. It’s fantastic to see Guyana’s leadership
rewarded.”
